Second Thoughts Sometimes Best

When I first read what the theme of next year’s National Coin Week will be, I wondered to myself how the American Numismatic Association came up with such a clunky title.

It is called “Coin & Country: Celebrating Civic Service.” Dates are April 20-26, 2014.

However, as I read further into the announcement I saw the reference to President John F. Kennedy’s famous 1961 inaugural call to a new generation to “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”
