This year the U.S. Mint has made it easy to remember when the two commemorative coin programs will end.

Collectors have until the final day of the year to place their final orders.

Sales will terminate at noon Eastern Time on Dec. 31.

Girl Scouts and 5-Star Generals were the two program themes.

For Girl Scouts, there is a single silver dollar and the 5-Star Generals program offers gold $5s, silver dollars and clad half dollars.

To order, go to www.usmint.gov, or telephone (800)USA-MINT.
