Mint Stats: Eagles Hold Spotlight; What Are You Watching?

Proof silver Eagles dated 2008 have gone on sale and we begin reporting them here this week. The last number we had for the 2007 proof silver Eagle was 827,106. Gold and platinum proof Eagles listed are still coins dated 2007.
The 2007 10th anniversary platinum Eagle set has made its way to 16,774 sets sold of a maximum 30,000.
Bullion Eagle numbers for December were unchanged from last week and the Mint has moved on to the month of January. Note that these bullion Eagle figures, unlike the proof Eagle figures, can include coins dated 2007 and 2008 as the Mint transitions to the new date.
In 2007 Unc. "W" Eagle news, gold figures were static, platinum options all edged upward and the silver went off sale.
