Details
Struck by the Mahdi, which is a copy of the Egyptian coin 100 Qirsh, KM#235.1 under the Ottoman sultan. This issue is more crude than the Egyptian type and has crude edge milling. Reverse Arabic legend "Struck in Misr AH1255 Year 2" (Egypt); however they were struck in the Sudan about AH1302.
